Application of litmus paper:
For acid measurement in dark juices / wines - determination of the color change. Put 1 drop on each of the neutral litmus paper. As soon as the color of the paper no longer changes (red = still acid present, blue = too much alkali used), the scale value is read off on the acid measuring cylinder.
